Batman Beyond

Over at Press the Action Button, is an interesting story about what could have been! It seems that there was initial work done on a script for a live action Batman based in the Batman Beyond setting. And it seems that Mr. Stephenson was part of some of that work, which unfortunately ended up without being completed. I suppose there is always hope as the Batman franchise seems to have new life with the Nolan directed Batman movies.
Thanks for linking to the my article. Admittedly before learning about the plans for the Batman Beyond movie I had no knowledge of Mr. Stephenson’s work. But since reading about him I have become extremely curious of how his writing style would of helped to bring a live action futuristic Gotham City to life. In the TV series, Gotham is a very unique city and has many quirks about it that would be fascinating to see rendered in a live action film.
Like you I still hold out some hope that the a live action Batman Beyond movie will eventually see the light of day.
